Workshops
BNG workshops teach students to produce real media, not to practice on hypotheticals. The curriculum covers camera fundamentals including aperture, ISO, framing and lighting, phone camera optimization, photo editing in Adobe Lightroom, video editing in CapCut, graphic design in Canva, pre-production planning, and interview technique.
During the 2025–26 school year our founder ran two cohorts of six students at Central Florida Christian Academy, a school with no budget for media equipment. Students applied what they learned at live games, produced school event promotions, and shot practice b-roll. Fourteen students have completed media production training to date. This training was founder-led and completed before BNG was formed in February 2026; it is the model BNG now exists to deliver at scale.
The measure of a workshop is not attendance. It is whether a student can produce work without us afterward. Kevin Luu, mentored one-on-one by our founder before BNG was formed, began the year too self-conscious to record b-roll at basketball practice. He finished it traveling with the team, shooting games, cutting highlight reels his teammates shared, and conducting an on-camera interview with his head coach.
